I think Harrogate is a good location myself as it's more central to the uk then Birmingham. Maybe Manchester would be a good location as a main airport there.
Make more sense to me to have 2 shows on the go, one at harrogate one further south in the greater london region like watford etc, cant speak for everybody but coming from down ascot way I'm in no way tempted to make the trip up norf to harrogate even though id no id enjoy it, id be tempted if it were on a weekend in birmingham though as have family over rugby way.
used to be a great show at brighton many years ago-lots of small wholesalers then-lots of tool stands too
