Looks good mate like it, like Matt said though the roller move it forward to the bulk head so its got less chance of carrying that kinetic energy from an impact through its self and through the front of the van. They do do alot of damage when the take off I seen this back in the 80's, the roller followed a full roll of lino through the front of the van, the lino didn't stop till it landed on the back of the car in front and the roller ended up in the cab. Fortunatly there were no passengers only the driver in this incident he escaped with only a few cuts.
Here you go Pete, on page 2, I am still messing about with it. going to have to cut a hole to get 9ft door trims in.
Cheers Daz. I lost track of it and couldn't find the thread again. Looking good. How's it working out in use?
Good mate, got stuff in it's place. But had to take the top of the driver side out and move folders / samples there as couldn't get them out easy. The best bit for me is sliding the ply in at the bottom. Works well that. Thanks to all the lads who put pictures up an gave me ideas how to do it.
bit late now but i used my Sprinter van today for the first time in a very long time. (i only use my Berlingo now a days as no need to carry large payload.) So i took some pics for you as its the first time its been empty in a long time, or used for that fact. Here some pics -
