Hi, I've just moved into an old house and completely redoing the floor. I'd love your suggestions on what is the best type of flooring for each room.
Hi, depends on what you want really. I’m a fan of carpet everywhere except bathrooms and kitchens. Others hate carpet or only upstairs. What do you like? what’s your family dynamic like in rooms all can effect the decision. As can budget.
I'm for carpet is areas like the living room and dependent on bathrooms. It's just me and my partner at this moment but we're hoping to add to this so we want something that's long standing and will be able to withstand mess and mucky hands.
Then I’d look at underpays with anti-microbe technology and bleach cleanable carpets. Hard flooring in areas that will get food thrown about is a good idea
Carpet for bedrooms and stairs. LVT for bathrooms and kitchens Engineered wood or LVT for hallways living rooms most ground floor areas Possibly a carpet in the lounge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
These are all amazing suggestions. I was looking at Fenix NTM flooring for the kitchen but not a 100% whether it would be a good choice. Thoughts?
