I got the samples through and although it is fairly dense, I found too much downward movement between tile edges when walked on. Just my opinion mind ;)

Its a marmite product, I only know a few people who use it but reckon its amazing. Use jumpax its far easier to work with and gives a better finish.

I've been asking for samples since it came out but only told where to buy a roll ? Bad PR !

Haven't heard anything good about it at all only bad so I won't be using it Sounds dodgy to me !

Same here, I want a free roll to try. Otherwise, not interested.

Do these companies think you're gonna change your practice of work and buy a product you've never used before?

    Do one!

Honestly, you don't want to waste your time trying it ! I can't believe John Roberts does the demo videos for it ! I think it's rubbish. Especially for lvt.

What exactly is wrong with it? what has gone wrong when people have heard bad things about it or saying not to use it?

Yeah. Used it with some vusta lvt. They say it cuts clean with no crumb falling off it.....no it doesn't !! If you put any furniture / appliances on the planks or tile and the point load falls on the edge of the plank / tile it puckers ! I just think underlay is best suited to carpets & laminate / engineered wood not lvt !

This is a 60m2 café on Instalay I did before Easter. There is a LVT floor on concrete under this one, uneven floor and had to be in and out in 2 days. Only way I could think was to try Instalay, tackified it and fit it but never left an expansion gap. Startted peaking at header joints and even lifting. Cut in a 3mm gap all round and still having problems, been told to lift ends and bevel a bit off and stick back with a bit of ps. I think it will have to come out personally. What was your solution Dannyboy?
