LVP flooring on screed and wood.

    After reading your posts we was thinking perhaps we need to get a non sales person, fitter to look.

    Is this forum a good place to find someone? We are in Hertfordshire.

    Should be someone on here to help you. Yes you need to be a moisture test but to be fair a dpm May as well be used as you won’t get low enough readings this early

    Hi,

    We are near Potters Bar and currently looking at Project flooring, only because you can clearly see the different planks due to the 'grout line'.

    I’d put 6mm ply to the concrete then take off any latience from concrete then use a moisture tolerant screed to smooth the concrete and get same level as ply then damp proof the concrete area then prime and screed the lot also want everything in place skirt etc your builder wants to do that after because it’s easier to fit I prefer them on first make marking out more accurate you definitely need a floorlayer
