LVT direct on to Ply?

    Ive got a very flat, level and solidly fixed 22mm ply floor.
    Can I smooth and finish with feather, then lay tiles?
    Or should I also overboard or SLC before tiling...seems a bit excessive though?
    Any advice gratefully received

    Over ply and feather
    Then if you ever need to change the floor the LVT and the ply can be uplifted leaving a clean undamaged subfloor to start fresh
