    Hello everyone new to this forum, just started fitting lvt and loving it, only done dry back at the moment, customer might want clic, question is do you need to leave an expansion gap and how do you finish it off, many thanks

    Yes you do. You can use scotia or hydroseal from Quickstep

    I tend to only leave a 2mm gap then you the clear hydroseal , it’s like silicone.

    Depends on what lvt click your fitting, will depend on what mm you leave around the room buddy

    Different manufacturing processes etc, a good rule of thumb, allow 1mm per 1sq

    If they have UFH., get it turned on.., acclimatise the dry fit LVT (looselay?) to the floor temp, fit tight to skirtings.
    When UFH is off., it’ll shrink back marginally.
