The refina ones are the best I've had. I have a MM19/2 same as daz. It's worn through about 6 paddles now, and still going well. I keep expecting to have to have the brushes replaced, but not so far. I find the d handle ones a lot easier to use
New mixer is coming 2moro Seamed liked a bargain not sure on brand but it’s 1600w twin handled and bright yellow so hopefully I won’t loose it
Has anyone tried the cordless version ? https://www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Dewalt-Dcd240X2-Gb-5035048668351-54V-2X9Ah-Xr-Paddle-Mixer-Kit I`m going to start changing to Flexvolt stuff. There 54v tools are really good. Had some use of some on site, and its just like using corded.
Looks like a nice piece of kit but id still stick with my refina. How does it stack up after knocking up 80+ bags tho?
Don`t know. I wonder how many mixes you get to a battery. Would be interesting to find out. I might ask for a demo. I don`t think you can beat the Refina mixers, there excellent. But, if you were on a site, with remote, or no power, it would be very useful
Defo looks like it would handle some work. Brushes and maintenance would be a must tho. If you try it let us know the outcome
Yep, expensive, but a lot of the cost is in the batteries. If your using them for all your cordless gear, it might not be so bad
Im a tight fcuka.....but I do eventually give in. Would be good to hear some feedback on it. Still debating which guillotine to get but I know ill end up spending near the 1k ive seen it for.
Good thing tho is they hold price pretty well. Get good use from it and still a decent return if you ever need to sell it.
I have the Refina mixer and mixing station, been using it for about 5 years with no problems, and it has mixed a few bags of screed in that time!! Looked at a cordless the other day, The De Walt looks good, but I think the Metabo cordless is a better machine and cheaper. Certainly worth a look at.
Had a go of that Dewalt mixer on Friday at a tool show. Was good. Wouldn’t buy one though as I’m mainly doing domestic so not needed.
