On the non-invasive scale as you correctly pointed out this technique is not good at accurately measuring moisture content of the building material due to the wide variance of conductance even in the same material. Concrete is a good example of this and consequently we have stuck to the 70-1000 scale. The MMS2 has the ability for customer to upgrade the firmware just like a smartphone so in the future if we make any useful changes (additional calibrations etc) you can simply up load it to the meter.
