    Just to say hi.
Been fitting for 32 years for the past13 years I've been fitting for carpetright but It's getting harder working for them as they just keep adding new rules. My son has worked for me for the past seven years. Hope I can contribute to the forum.

We'll I've got to go to a road show next Tuesday. The last time we had to attend a meeting they told us we have to pay another £200 bond.so that's £500 in total.I've heard that they are going to start charging fitters for the carpets if they delaminate
All I know is this meeting is going to cost me.

Pity every carpet fitter tells them where to go. They would shut down in a month.

Ive never had a problem with them either and 50% of my carpets are Cormar! Not like Furlongs which always delaminated and short in the width

The problem is that half the carpets were expected to take out are faulty. Going to build up my supply business again I think.

I've done loads of Cormar over the last couple of years, some of them are shocking quality. Cheaper ranges (apollo for instance) just seem to fall apart as soon as you bend them. Makes winders a real bitch!!!

edit; how rude of me, welcome to the original poster!

    Apollo is terrible !
It looks ok when first done but after not long the pile flattens in all directions & you can see loads of lines ?
