I thought it looked nice to fit, seems more flexible than most others. Glad you found it a good product thats reassured me a bit, now I just need to learn to do externals like in your pic, looks much better

Yeah and thats exactly what everyone said about everlay when that first came out, why is it that when new products come onto the market we just shoot them down in a ball of flames.
My opinion education and training they should offer free seminars for new products and educate us in the handling of the product rather than rolling it out with a leaflet showing a couple of pictures and some writing.

Alot of fitters dont like products that are 'different'. There are to many fitters that are stuck in the old ways, like stuff has to be fully bonded, it should be bonded on bitumin etc because that is how we done it in the 1960's and so on.

However, i had a problem with a simular product. It was a commercial loose lay that failed after a month or so. It was caster chair damage (dentist chair). The product was sold as loose lay that i confirmed with manufactorier and they said "yes that is correct"

When the manufactorier came out to inspect they said "you should of glued it" I had the instructions with me that said loose lay ! I had even questioned this before installing with them .

They said well you cant use it with caster chairs, unlucky for them that there advertisment picture had caster chairs in the picture!

They paid up for the replacement.

It is a good product and its so soft you can easily do pencil cove with it pushes in nice and tight at the base of the cove without any heat. As for my corners I'm thinking of a world wide patent and copyright, although Matts very keen to get me in to show how they are done so watch this space.
