Merit, i would maybe look into getting a Ipad. After all its more professional than showing someone your phone. Along with the great apps for estimating etc and being able to show you customers the forum FAQ section online on a big screen will impress a lot more than your phone!
No1 flooring advice forum its easy mate, you have to pack out the risers with timber battens to make them square. Think a staircase is the only place you actually cut the laminate tight. And you obviously need the nosing of correct type and colour. This is the method i use, what does the rest of the laminaters do?
Ive been thinking about getting an ipad for ages, I was hopeing you could use them for estimating, maybe an app for drawing out plans?? Better than all the paper work. Never looked into it enough. What are these apps then?
ye think so. Dazlight will advice you on that. Im surprised his not on tonight. He must be on Holiday again?
i got the ipad when it first came out, best thing ever, i take it to jobs with me its packed with my photos, estimate apps, the lot.
I thought I might look a bit flash turning up with an ipad but its got to be a better way of doing things. I think Daz is flat out on resistance 3. What apps do u use owen?
flooring advice forum Seen this app advertised, may have to try it out. Bit expensive but there must be similar about for less http://www.measuremobile.com/
flooringAdviceForum ive got loads, just a few to mention, t&f estimator, basf flooring, project calculator is a good one sorts out the required amount of material inc waste if you want, you can also add photos, and store them, works out the total cost for you in minutes so no need to go back home an work it all out. o and there all FREE!, to be honest mate i would stay away from pay monthly especially at that price
