Haa anyone been getting builders leaving loose 25mm insulation at the edges on new floors?
Realise they seem to be following planning guidelines but have had a Conservatory today to screed then lvt, how do you deal with the 100mm deep edges!

I've had this today, seems to be the fashion these days. I usually mix up some chippings with some screed and pour it in.

Solution in the end has been the builder going back in and cutting off 30mm of the insulation depth then screeding over with a quick drying screed before I go back in.
Starting to see the issue to often though, can't understand how they think you can work around it easily?

Imagine you were putting a carpet down. No good for gripperrods and stretching. Good the builders fixing it
