Does anyone know of plywood is tested for its hardness? The new flooring grade plys are softer and easier to cut but does that make them weaker under LVT? Some certainly seem to dent easier than some latexes.

I’ve had the same thoughts my self
I prefer using 9mm most the time as it’s more stable. Some of the 6mm you may as well put card board down it’s tgat light and soft
I still think birch wood is the best But it’s pricey

Was thinking this a while back. People go on about compressive strength in screed and plywood can’t be that high.
