Put an advert on the gov site on Monday for two trainees, had 44 applicants ! Boys and girls Got to shift over the CV now, going to be busy this weekend Will see if I can get them on courses later on when I whittle them down,and if any last the first couple of weeks! Anybody now the age limit for funding?
Funding different depending on what type of apprenticeship your doing. On the floorskills website under apprenticeships it explains. I would post a link when i work out how to on this tablet thingy
No sweat Matt I will find it, Just wondered if there was an age limit ? It's amazing how many people that have applied have fork lift licence, That means they have been on the dole for a long time and the job centre makes them go on the course,or lose money So these ones are not top of my list,
Have to be 19+ for a additional funding payment but any age can do it with full funding for wood apprenticeship. No age limit with full funding. For carpet / vinyl apprenticeship its different. Any age put only full funding for under 19's.
