quarry tile floor with no phisical dpm

    I haven't noticed the tape showing thru but not used it in any large areas with lots of natural light.

    So what tape do you all use is there any that don't show as much as others

    I used the f.ball tape, surely Mapei have a tape tho don't they!? What do they expect you to use?

    I dont think so.

    I think they tend to recommend using something like epoxy adhesive where the joints are or there eporip i think its called? Not sure.

    I have always used fballs tape i have left over (have loads of it). I would guess using eporip epoxy would work very well.

    If this is 100%, it will be more cost effective, less labour time and i,m nervous about using the surface dpm
    The water table wont have any effect on this material ?
    If I use this and i,m laying domestic vinyl , can I loose lay the vinyl or does it have to be stuck ?

    Stick the vinyl the isolator is loose so any water stays under it

    I stuck the f.ball one with f44 round the edges in my mates pub. Still down after 2 years of getting hammered. Polysafe on top.

    loose lay or stuck.

    Personally i would loose lay a domestic vinyl.

    cheers fellas, got to speak with them first thing in the morning, this could be a good solution for many of their cottages with the same problem
    One last thing i notice on the fballs fitting guide it says to leave a 3 to 6mm gap around the edge if the readings above 75 rh ??
