    Hi
Currently have kardean planks in conservatory, been down for 14 years,
. Problem I have is sub floor has sunk and requires levelling before new flooring is fitted.
Can self levelling compound be poured over the original tiles, or do they have to be removed?
Many thanks for any help received

Remove them, then will probably need to use either fball 1200pro or Ardex NA due to glue residue

Thanks for reply, what is the best type of machine to hire to remove the Kardean. They are held down with a very strong adhesive ?

When I repaired floor some years ago had to use kango and chisel head, took for ever. Tiles just break had sub floor comes up with adhesive. Hoping there was a suitable machine

There is, you can hire them.
The most common ones are made by Spe.

Off to the hire shops I go for tile floor stripper. For Info Jewson is by far the cheapest for this item
