depending on the rh% in the concrete a water mix could fail spectacularily you really need a compressive strength of 30 nm or over, well worth getting a pro to prep the area first will save you tons of cash in the long run.
it's flexural strength is lower than latexplan too http://www.f-ball.co.uk/documents/datasheets/Greenbag_Latex%20PDS%20Dec07.pdf http://www.mapei.com/public/COM/products/506_GB.pdf
the f ball you posted there mate is out of date theres a 2012 edition http://www.f-ball.co.uk/documents/datasheets/Green Bag Mar 12 HR.pdf FINAL.pdf
So green bag is 30 nm with the 128 liquid so what is the problem. My mate graham is going to be in massive trouble soon then, I mean what does he know??
don't like balls latex's their water based are better, although think ardex mapei uzin are all better.
I been using f balls since i first started 20+yrs ago Tho i like to see/use others, if nothing else but to see whats new out there etc Majority of balls gear is solid Tho id like to see a dpm/screed combo in the nr future also a screed akin to NA etc
Think daz is getting at dont knock em less youve tried em etc I try em all! lol bit like tools that way haha
I didn't know people used red bag, I've only ever seen pictures of it and heard the rumers it was produced
it's crap mate, i always try a bag of all screeds to find what i prefer but as cool said balls are solid but there's better out there for cheaper or similar prices although a DPM/screed integration would be awesome.
