fully concur with Matt on that one - always prefer to glue, v,v, rarely nail - adhesives now are high spec & IMO far more stable & suitable than other methods...
no, i prime plywood when using vinyl adhesives. With wood adhesives i find there is no need. The adhesives tend to act like a primer and when laid into seem to re-bond well to themselves. Guess its due to them having a much longer open time than say F44 or F46 I prime screed tho before applying wood adhesives.
