I've only had this one about a month ,i'm actually going to bin it, was a complete waste of money ,it's probably doubled my nailing time

I even tried slowing the rate of nailing right down ,but it still ends up fireing more than one nail through the hole

Look at your compressor and see if it's too high setting

I got 2, ones always jamming and the other is fine. Also find you can get bad nails. Some boxes are better than others

Thought I'd solved the problem, after the comments about pressure ,i thought I'd double check it and have a play about with the settings ,i discovered that no matter how much i adjusted it the needle doesn't move ( I've had it over 15years ,so can't really complain), so i adjusted the pressure down to the point where it wouldn't fire, then gradually adjusted it back up until it did ,nailed 2 1/2 sheets down with no problem ,but it would do that before ,then went back to misfiring and jamming.
I'll get a new compressor ,but if anyone has any thoughts on what else could be the problem ,I'd welcome any suggestions

I've found that with the nails too, I've had a box sat in my tool room for about 2 years ,that i can't use but still can't bring myself to throw them away either lol

I've had mine about a year, I've had the odd jam up but not enough to bother me.
Like others have mentioned I find if I oil it before use I dont have any problem with it at all.
When I used it for the first time I wasn't positioning the nails correctly which caused jamming but once I'd sussed that it was fine.
I also use the 22mm plastic collated nails.
