Priced 3 Job’s with this now and didn’t get any. Hard to sell I’m finding. Costs to much.
All 3 went with Tomkinson twist deluxe

No difference in quality there then lol.

I do feel westex is over priced.

Have you tried Adams they do some lovely stuff.

And if they don't go for westex meet in the middle with brockway? Much better then Manx stuff.

    Thanks Dan.
I’ll look into them 2 now. Hard for me to get some carpet accounts due to location.

Alot of companies are wary about opening new accounts and upsetting existing ones as well.

Cavaliers another one to try they do cheap poly all the way to high end velvet so a great one stop shop.
They make carpets for other suppliers too.

I find only high end customers will buy westex mostly they already know it or have seen it in interior designers. Just done a few bedrooms in west end supreme and staircase in ultimate twist major. Decent carpets and multi width can really help on large areas. These type of carpets are well over £50 per m2 which is miles over most customers budget I find.

Westex have some good carpets but expensive.
I prefer the jacaranda over westex, got more of their santushsti storm to fit in a few week.

My customers seem to sway towards the invictus range lately

Still got near half roll of the greatest Mont blanc to shift. Used to fly out but no one seems to want it anymore...maybe because it just looks shite!

It will come in handy soon, probably be a big order when it does come in. They usually are. We only get a few every year but always good ones

I don’t have much of a problem selling Westex to be honest, I refuse to sell cheap wool though so that might be why.

Your lucky there. We sell anything that can be described as value for money.

In an ideal world everyone buys fine worchester but I think alot of us would be out of business if we refused to sell Cormar and abingdon spec.

As long as the customer doesn't think they are buying a rolls Royce and they realise they've got a fiat lol.

If they're looking at anything less than £30m2 it's always going to be synthetic, some people do have ideas of grandeur but I try to keep them in reality cheap wools are crap and any similar priced synthetic will do the same job better.

We sell alot of home counties from Cormar to retail and house build.

Setting aside delamantation issues. We are yet to have a wear complaint and it's clean for the money.

Cormar can kiss my bottom. I absolutely hate their wool carpets with a passion delamination problems, pile reversal like Kingsmead, and cheap material usage they need burning not fitting in my opinion. I think Brockway run the cheapest wool I honestly sell but even then I much prefer to sell Westex mainly for multi width, moth protection and pre Guardsman treatment.
