When i was on the cards with the firm that trained me we had to fit curtain rails, luckily i don,t fit them now thank god. One job we went to i was drilling a hole in the wall and drilled through a cable , there was a big bang and i was on the floor on the opposite side of the room
Another time whilst with the same firm, i was only an apprentice then, we had a 20ft curtaintrack to put up.My mate had the firm,s steps and i borrowed the customer,s steps. These steps were VERY shaky and i fell off them , i made matchwood of a coffee table, a standard lamp fell over and smashed some vases and ornaments, infact everytime i looked around something was breaking, it all seemed in slowmotion . The lady was in tears and we didn,t work in the house again
What were you playing at Ted "cards with the firm" and making a table out of matchwood!,wont go back to that house again,no wonder she was in tears.
